I tried my hand at sewing for the first time. Julie and I took a sewing class to learn how to make pillowcase dresses for Piper and Norah. I was pretty impressed with the outcome. Norah hates the bow around her neck, but I'm still proud of my first sewing project.

I know that raising a child has many memorable milestones, good and bad. Well today is a "bad" milestone. I've gone the entire day without seeing Norah. I know that it's just a part of her growing up, but the worst part is that she doesn't even seem to miss me! She and Michael are back home having a great time playing together while I'm in Nashville working. She better be as excited to see me tomorrow as she was to see Michael after he'd been gone for a week! I'm just kidding. I'm excited that I have such a wonderful and loving husband that I can trust to stay at home with out 8 month old baby.
Norah has been saying Mamamamama for a few weeks! It's sooooo sweet! She'll chase me around the house calling my name when she wants something. Over the Easter weekend Norah started saying Dada, but she really didn't seem to connect it with Michael. Well she knows for sure who Dada is now! Michael was at a conference for the past week, and everyday Norah would yell for Dada looking for him. At night we would face time each other and Norah would laugh directly into the phone and say, "Dada." Norah loves her Mama & Dada!

I'm sure you can't tell from the pictures below, but Norah has her first ear infection. She's been completely normal until bed time. She hasn't run a fever or pulled on her ears, but she begins crying about an hour after she lays down for bed.
Norah loves the baby in the mirror at Dr. Owen's office.

We had a very eventful Easter! Norah enjoyed every minute of it!!! We all enjoyed spending time with friends and family to celebrate Jesus' resurrection.
Norah started her Easter celebration at Mama Jane's house on Thursday with all of her friends. Mama Jane planned to let the babies hunt eggs, but the rain put a damper on that. Instead, Norah, Noah, and Kate stood in the swimming pool and watched the big kids hunt. Afterwards, all the kids got in the pool and opened their eggs and enjoyed their treats.
On Saturday, we celebrated Easter at my Grandmother's house. Norah was the smallest kid there, but she still enjoyed herself. She showed off her eating skills by begging for table food and then eating everything in site.
Saturday night we had an egg dying party at Carla's house. Saying that Norah loves hanging out with her cousins is an understatement! She had so much fun dying eggs with Braden, Taylor, and Shayne. She really thinks that she's a big kid too.
Norah was very excited Easter morning! She knew that something special was going on in the house. She couldn't wait to crawl into the living room and see what the Easter Bunny had brought her.
The Easter Bunny left Norah a little....or should I say big....Easter basket at her house. It was filled with diapers, Norah's favorite foods, and snacks.
